Jim has a background as a Project Manager, Manager of Project Management & Service and Operations Manager. He has managed multi-million dollar electronic instrumentation systems for both Nuclear Power Generating Station and automotive assembly plants.
Jim’s Operations Management began at Illinois Tool Works with extensive training in the Japanese methodology of Lean Manufacturing following through with Mettler Toledo’s training and implementation of continuous improvement of through the Kaizen techniques.
Jim moved through management with additional responsibility in Printed Circuit Board assembly, mechanical / electrical equipment assembly, metrology and Lab Depot repair, facility management, manufacturing engineering, engineering services, purchasing, inventory and shipping and receiving. Jim was also responsible for the quality recertification certification of ISO 9001, ISO 17025 & ISO 14001.
Working for International companies Jim has traveled to facilities through out Europe, China & Indonesia supporting procurement, quality and environmental sustainment directives.
Continuous improvement is Jim’s passion. The ability to improve quality while dramatically reducing the production cycle time is the benchmark of modern competitive organizations.
