Walter Chaote, OD, FAAO

Dr. Choate is the founder and CEO of Choate Eye Associates, PLC in Nashville, TN. The focus of his practice is ocular disease, specialty contact lenses, and dry eye treatment and management. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of St. Louis College of Optometry.  

Dr. Choate is recognized for his participation in contact lens, device, and pharmaceutical clinical trials. He is a recognized speaker at national and international eye care meetings. He serves on the Editorial Advisory Boards of Primary Care Optometry News as well as Review of Optometry.  Active in the profession, he is a member of the AOA and founding member of the AOA Contact Lens Section. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and the National Academy of Practices.
